Building and Grounds Team

The newly formed Building and Grounds Team is now in place and operational.  The team will be working to identify facility conditions that need immediate attention and taking th eappropriate action.  Also, they will start compiling a list of action items and prioritize them so they can be handled promptly.  The team will be establishing responsibilities for taking care of re-occuring maintenance tasks and assigning them to team members as appriate.

TEAM RESPONSIBILITY
The Building and Grounds Committee is responsible for the coordination of maintenance, use and modification or enhancements to the church properties.  The Building and Grounds committee hs the responsibility to:

  • Develop and recommend to the church membership, in cooperation with appropriate church leaders, policies for the use of church buildings and grounds
  • Maintain an inventory listing of all church owned buildings and equipment
  • Make monthly inspections of the facilities and make necessary repairs and improvements
  • Plan for the security, fire prevention, and safety of the church buildings and properties
