The ability of a church to be successful in growing the kingdom is totally dependant on the combined and unified spirit of the church members.  God cannot move the church toward his perfect will unless we are in complete unity.  Reaching this combined unity is dependant on the following:

  1. The pastor is the undershephard and is charged with staying in the word and delivering God's message to the congregation.
  2. The deacons church body in as they serve the membership  and support the pastor.
  3. The members work together using their God given talents to support God's local ministry in whatever capacity they can... no matter how great or small. 

When the members of a church start to approach the unified spirit, it gets satan's undivided attention.  He will do everything he can to disrupt the unity and cause confusion and discord among the members.  This will ultimatly destroy the unified spirit unless the members keep their eyes and hearts focused on seeking and being in the perfect will of God for their lives and service in Christ.

The key to accomplishing this goal is prayer and seeking the face of God....Just Remember:

  • Don't think it if it does not glorify God and His Kingdom
  • Don't say it if it will not edify and priase His Holy Name
  • Don't do it unless He will get glory and honor from the action.
